Beef Shares
Pick the size that fits your household. Every share is a balanced mix of steaks, roasts, and ground beef from one animal, cut and packaged the way you want it.
We currently offer quarter, half, and whole shares, which work well for a wide range of households. Many families choose to split a share with friends or relatives—making it easy to share freezer space, cost, and beef while still enjoying the benefits of buying direct from the farm.
If buying by the share is new to you, don’t worry. We’re happy to walk through the options, answer questions, and help you decide what size makes the most sense for your household.
$6.50/lb hanging weight. Processing included. Your price is locked when you place your deposit.

What’s Included in a Share
Each share includes a variety of cuts from a single animal, providing consistency, balance, and quality you can’t get when buying individual cuts from different sources.
While the exact mix varies slightly based on the animal and processing choices, every share includes a thoughtful assortment of beef suited for everyday cooking, special meals, and long-term freezer planning.

A Variety of Cuts
Expect a well-rounded selection of steaks, roasts, and ground beef. This variety makes it easy to plan meals, stock your freezer with versatile options, and enjoy different cuts throughout the year.

Beef From One Animal
Your entire share comes from the same animal, raised and processed with care. This means consistent flavor, texture, and quality across all of your cuts.

Customization Options
Before processing, you’ll have the opportunity to determine how your beef is cut and packaged. We work closely with our processor and are happy to help guide you through the options so you feel confident in your choices.
Customization & Processing
When it’s time to process your beef, you’ll have the opportunity to make selections about how it’s cut and packaged. This includes choices around specific cuts and packaging preferences, so your share fits how you cook, store, and enjoy your beef.
We work closely with our local processor and will guide you through the options ahead of time. Whether this is your first time buying beef by the share or you’ve done it before, we’re always happy to answer questions and help you think through what will work best for your household.
Our goal is to keep the process simple and straightforward, so you feel comfortable and confident from start to finish.
Pricing & Deposits
Our beef is priced by the pound based on the finished weight of your share. Because every animal is slightly different, the final total can vary, but we’re always happy to talk through what to expect before you commit.
When the timing is right, we’ll help you reserve a share with a deposit. Once your deposit is received, your share is officially reserved for an upcoming processing date.
The remaining balance is due closer to pickup, once final weights are known. We’ll stay in touch along the way so there are no surprises.
Pickup & Delivery
All beef is processed locally, and pickup is coordinated directly through our processor near Atchison, Kansas. We’ll share clear details ahead of time so you know when and where to pick up your order.
For customers who prefer not to make the drive, local delivery may be available for an additional fee. We’ll always confirm details in advance and make sure pickup or delivery feels straightforward and easy.
As processing approaches, we’ll be in touch to coordinate timing and answer any last questions, including making sure you’re ready with freezer space at home.
Ready When You Are
Every animal is a little different, so treat these as planning ranges, not guarantees. Your deposit goes toward your final balance.
